HD Academy: Day 8- Graduation day

School is over and I can now call myself a "certified" professional make-up artist! Yey! This day was very tiring but yet so fun. I will surely miss my batchmates. :'(

For our finals, we were required to create two looks for 1 model: a bridal makeup look and an avant garde/high fashion makeup look.

Fashion Circus || An Openshoot for Photographers

Hi everyone!

Since my boyfriend did not complete the pictures I was asking him to send so I can make a review, I'll just make a quick post to keep you guys updated. :)

Last month, I received another set of lashes from Eyelash Diva. They sponsored my first ever bridal make-up portfolio openshoot for models last September 15-16, 2012. Thank you so much eyelash diva!

EYELASH DIVA FLYING COLORS SERIES

 Hi everyone! Obviously I've been busy again for this week. (nothing's new eh?) LOL. My 2-day first openshoot for models was successful and I would like to thank all the people who participated on the said event, "Meet the Bride". It was so tiring yet so fun! :)

Anyway, let's get start! I'll be featuring Eyelash Diva again, but this time I'll be showing two of their "Flying Colors" series. 

                      TA-DAH!! :) Eyelash Diva's Flying Colors! These lashes are genuine, fashionable, colorful, intricately handmade and very soft and lightweight "feather" made lashes. I chose these to my "Black et Couleurs" Openshoot for Photographers, because my concept is to create an avant-garde look but I don't want to exaggerate it, I still want to make it simple and glamorous.

                     
                                                First was the Purple Black 01 Double Wave Full Lashes. 

                             I decided to use this lashes because it gives a playful but still glamorous look which is right for the concept I created that time.

Second, was the re-JOYCE me lashes. I love it so much! :) I chose this to create a dramatic look yet still gives avant-gardeish look.

You can see it right, that's me! LOL. I tried it and yes, some were heavy and some were not. It depends with the style of the lashes that you're going to choose. These lashes are best when doing avant-garde or out of this world concepts.

          Hooray!!! I'm back in the track! After so many months of being M.I.A., Ehmjay is back in blogging. (party poppers popping...people clapping) ;p

                   DROOOL. Adorable lashes! If you want to get that glamorous cat eye look, these lashes are the bomb!  (Actually, this is one of my favorite lashes from eyelash diva) Look closely... They're using clear nylons (I believe, that's what it calls like) to hold the lashes. Now, isn't it fab?! :)

Jenova Triple Pinky & Moist Gel- Php 880

I received a sample of Jenova from Sir Don Cristobal when I joined one of his openshoot as his HMUA. From there, I never stopped loving this product. Maybe Miss Jewil remembered that I inquired about the price of this product that's why she decided to give it to me. LOL. 

                                           Jenova's moist gel and triple pinky lip and cheek tint.

                   What I love about this product is that, it has more natural effect, doesn't stain,  non-sticky,  easy & smooth to apply. It doesn't irritate my skin rather makes it soft, smooth & rosier. Gosh, my item on the go! :) (excuse my pimple. haha!)

                               Will you recommend this? YES! :)

                                                                    Benefit ERASE Paste

  

               This Benefit's corrector paste really do its job! One of the concealers I love the most. It really brightens and conceal my eyebags! (Yeah, I have huge eyebags. Duh, I work at night. *sob*) It also comes with a tiny cute spatula. Love it! 

                   Will you recommend this? YES, specially to those who wants to hide their imperfections. :)
